About
I’ve spent my career at the place where clinical training meets institutional leadership — first as a physical therapist and athletic trainer, then across three decades of executive roles at some of the country’s leading academic health systems.
Today I serve as Vice President, Musculoskeletal Service Line and Chief Administrative Officer, Department of Orthopedic Surgery at Duke University Health System — a dual role spanning clinical operations, research, and two professional doctoral programs across a 23-site ambulatory network.
Outside of Duke, I’m the founder of Junto Analytics, a healthcare data venture that uses federally mandated price transparency data to illuminate the commercial reimbursement landscape for physicians — giving employed doctors access to the financial information that employment agreements have historically kept out of reach.
I’m also a PhD candidate at Florida Atlantic University’s College of Business, where my dissertation research applies simulation modeling and AI-enhanced scheduling to operating room efficiency. A companion book — Physician Compensation: A Comprehensive Guide — is nearing publication.
My career has been built on the conviction that rigorous data, applied honestly, changes the terms of consequential conversations. That’s as true in a health system boardroom as it is in a physician’s contract negotiation.

Junto Analytics
A healthcare data venture I founded to close the information gap between what health systems know about commercial reimbursement and what employed physicians can access about their own production.
Junto Analytics applies federally mandated price transparency data — Hospital Price Transparency and Transparency in Coverage filings — to physician compensation analysis through the wRVU framework.
The result is a continuously updated view of commercial reimbursement that physicians can use to understand, contextualize, and negotiate their employment agreements with the same information their employers have always had.
Named for Benjamin Franklin’s 1727 mutual improvement club, Junto is built on the conviction that better information leads to better outcomes — for physicians and for the patients they serve.
